Top 7 Questions to Ask Before You Buy A Barletta Boat

In June of 2017 Bill French, the founder of Barletta, made the decision to enter the Marine Industry. Bill had over 30 years of experience in the RV industry and with that knowledge he founded Barletta Boats. He used his unique customer-focused/dealer centric business model to rapidly grow the Barletta brand. The first boat was made in January of 2018, and ever since then Barletta has been building the highest quality boats that the marine industry has ever seen.

Below are our top 7 questions to ask before you buy a Barletta:

1. What makes Barletta different from other boat brands?

The main thing that sets the Barletta apart from other boat manufacturers is their warranty. Barletta offers a true bow to stern 10 year warranty that covers everything used on the boat. In addition to that, they offer a lifetime warranty on their motor mount, the pontoons themselves, the plywood decking, and any of the welded seams on the boat! Barletta fully backs their product!

2. What type of boats and pontoons do they offer?

Currently Barletta is only building pontoon boats. Thankfully, Barlettas are extremely versatile. You can do watersports, cruise around or relax all while having plenty of room to entertain the entire family!

3. Does Barletta have any special features other brands don’t have?

Other than the long list of standards that the Barletta has, such as the standard power bimini top, a built-in dog food and water dish, a depth/fish finder and so much more, they also use what they call V.I.P. technology.

What is Barletta V.I.P. Technology?

V.I.P. stands for vibration isolation pads. During construction of the boat, they install these pads anywhere that metal is touching metal. This drastically reduces the amount of vibration that the rider feels. This then provides an extremely quiet and smooth ride.

4. How much do Barletta boats cost on average?

The cost of a Barletta can vary quite a bit depending on what you’re looking at purchasing. Barletta has four different classes.

Barletta Cabrio

The Cabrio is their entry level boat and can cost anywhere from $60,000 to $80,000 with the motor and trailer included. Pricing can vary depending on the motor that you want. View our in stock Cabrio’s here.

Barletta Corsa & Lusso

The Corsa which is their sport model, and the Lusso which is their Luxury model start at around $90,000 and can go up from there depending on what motor you decide to pair with the boat. View our in stock Corsas & Lussos here.

Barletta Aria

The all new Barletta Aria is designed to pair affordability with luxury. This boat is for those who seek quality at a favorable price point. View our in stock Arias here.

5. How much does it cost to upkeep a Barletta boat?

Most of the upkeep on a Barletta is very simple. Frequent cleaning of the interior is the key to keeping your boat looking like new. A quick wipe down of the interior after a few uses with your preferred cleaning product is essential as a preventative. You’ll want to make sure that before you put your cover on that the seats are dry. It’s also important to have your pontoon cleaned at the end of the season.

Our marina offers a pontoon wash service. This will get all of the marine growth that has collected on your pontoon over the previous season off. For the latest pricing visit here. We also offer service packages to make it easier for you to maintain your boat.

6. How long do Barletta boats last?

The Barletta Warranty is 10 years. With regular maintenance you can expect your pontoon to last well beyond that.

7. Is it hard to drive a Barletta boat?

Pontoon boats are a little bit different to drive than other types of boats, but once you get it down it is super easy.

Barlettas are a little bit heavier than other brands of boats. A lot of that can be attributed to the superior construction of a Barletta. That may add a new element to get used to when it comes to docking and driving, but like with any new boat, it just takes some getting used to. You’ll catch on super quick!
